What you can Bring for Cat and Dog Boarding
You are more than welcome to bring the following items from home:
- Your pet's food, treats and medications with clear instructions and secure containers for each
- Their favorite toy or stuffed animal
- A bed and/or blanket that reminds them of home
We want your pet to feel as secure as possible while they are with us, and having an item that smells like home can help. Furthermore, it's important for us to stick to your pet's normal routine. Deviations from this routine can be stressful, especially if they are new to cat or dog boarding. One-on-one attention and a strict daily routine may help your pet feel more at ease.
What Your Pet Can Expect During Cat and Dog Boarding
Your cat or dog's boarding stay at Altadena Pet Hospital will include:

Pre-boarding Requirements
For the safety of our other boarding guests and our staff members, your pet must be fully vaccinated and parasite-free before coming to board with us. If necessary, we can update your pet's vaccinations for an additional fee. In addition, please include labels on all of your pet's personal belongings including food, medication, toys and containers.
